Product Line Information
Mounting accessories make your whip experience easier, faster, or a more durable whip. Our current mounts include transition to a Threaded Hex Base, Quick Disconnect Base and a Lock Pin Base* (*telescoping whip). We offer a variety of mounting accessories to work with each of these base types dependent on whether the client prefers permanent or temporary installation and whether the client wants to have a powered or non-powered whip. Our Quick Disconnect Mounts make your installation or removal of your whip more expedient with the ability to disconnect your whip and store it away for driving on a highway in a second versus screwing it off slowly every time you need to access a public main road, freeway or highway. Our spring mounts help to protect your whip from jars and jolts from equipment and rough terrain. Our hitch mount options offer non-permanent whip install; we also have extended hitch mounts which enable the end user use of tailgate or truck bed access. SafetyWhips, offers several varieties of magnetic mount options for temporary mount options which include a Light Duty magnet, and Medium Duty Magnet, and a Heavy Duty Magnets utilizing a cigarette cord adaptor for powered options. The size of the magnetic mount you choose depends on the length of your whip, vehicle speed during use of magnetic whip, and overall weight of your whip. We have you in mind and regularly protected when we decided to offer various mounts for permanent installation on a variety of vehicles and equipment whether it be in the truck or vehicle bed or roof, on the side of a van or equipment such as several angle bracket mounts, several types of flat surface mounts, a side wall mount, and a fold down mount.

Hitch Mount for LED Whips in Off-Road and Work Vehicle Use
The Heavy Duty Hitch Mount for Super Duty Fully Lit LED Whips is a hitch mount designed for mounting LED whips on trucks, off-road vehicles, and work equipment. Equipment operators, site supervisors, and safety coordinators typically use this vehicle mount to support visible equipment marking and quick setup. This SafetyWhips mount features heavy duty steel, a weatherproof Deutsch connector, a threaded whip base, and a 7-Way Plug.
Industry Applications and Professional Use
Transportation and Fleet Operations
Fleet crews and equipment operators typically use this hitch mount when they need a removable whip installation for travel or worksite movement. Trucks and service vehicles often need visible marking without permanent installation. This setup supports fast changes between job sites and helps teams keep equipment organized.
Construction Work Environments
Site supervisors and maintenance technicians commonly use LED whips on construction support vehicles that move through active job zones. The heavy duty steel body suits daily use around mixed traffic, equipment, and changing site layouts. Workers can mount and remove the whip as job demands change.
Mining Operations
Mining crews often use this vehicle mount on rugged terrain where equipment visibility matters during transport and staging. The threaded whip base and powered mount design support rough-use conditions. Teams benefit from a removable mount that fits temporary installation needs.
Forestry Work Sites
Forestry equipment operators commonly rely on hitch-mounted LED whips for machines and trucks working in wooded areas. The weatherproof Deutsch connector helps support outdoor use in changing conditions. This off-road accessory suits vehicles that move between trail access, loading areas, and remote work zones.
Utilities and Road Work
Utility crews and road work teams typically use a hitch mount when they need a temporary mount for service trucks and site vehicles. The 7-Way Plug supports a quick and easy power supply hook-up. This approach helps crews maintain a visible setup during active field work.

Use Case Scenarios and Applications
Temporary Worksite Setup
Teams typically use this hitch mount when they need a removable whip installation for a single shift or short project cycle. The threaded whip base and hitch receiver fit support fast vehicle changes. Workers can remove the setup when access or transport conditions change.
Outdoor Travel and Visibility Marking
Drivers often use LED whips on off-road vehicles to improve equipment visibility during movement through open terrain. This mount supports a powered mount connection and a stable install. The quick power supply hook-up helps crews save time before travel.
Truck Bed and Tailgate Access
Truck owners commonly choose an extended hitch-style approach when they need rear access to the bed or tailgate. This hitch mount keeps the whip installation non-permanent. Users can maintain access while still running a visibility accessory on the vehicle.
Rough-Terrain Industrial Use
Mining, forestry, and industrial crews often work around bumps, dust, and uneven ground. The heavy duty steel body supports these conditions better than lighter mounting hardware. Teams can pair the mount with compatible LED whips for active field work.
