X-plore 8000 Hood for Helmet, T4 | Draeger

The Dräger X-plore 8000 Hood for helmet (T4) offers full head and facial protection for PAPR systems, with optimal airflow and clear visibility. Designed for comfort and compatibility with X-plore 8000 series helmets, it ensures user safety in hazardous environments.

The Dräger X-plore® 8000 bump cap for hood is used together with the
Tychem 2000 / 4000 hood as a breathing connection for use with the Dräger
X-plore 8000 powered air purifying respirator system.

The Dräger X-plore® 8000 bump cap for hood is used together with a Tychem
2000 or 4000 hood. The visor protects the face from solid and liquid
particles. The collar of the hood is attached to the neck. An air duct is
integrated in the impact cap. When a powered air purifying respirator or an
air-line system is connected, the filtered air is passed through the air duct to
the user’s face. The resulting overpressure counteracts the penetration of air
containing pollutants.
